But like I said earlier older people especially ultra conservatives are set in their ways and their beliefs. Nobody can change those long held views.
The younger generations by and large don't hold intolerant positions against gay people, and same sex marriage will be recognized in the majority of
US states, and eventually will be federally recognized like regular marriage between a man and a woman. And all the old dinosaurs who hold intolerant
views towards gays will die off and become pretty much extinct. |

the original question Are gays more tolerated here seems to be YES. At least here in La Bocana, BCS, I see them as an integral part of our village.

On a sidenote: my adopted son is gay and only came out at 27. I knew he was gay even when he was little (age 2). He could no more change his
propensity than I could change my height or eye color.

JoJo---------if you had read the thread, you would know.
And, somebody else asked if I was a "Tea Partier"-----just what IS a "tea partier"??? I am a Conservative, I vote Republican, and I try to listen
to everybody, hard as that is sometimes---------if that makes me a "tea partier" then so be it, and I am proud of it.. (I guess, but I really don't
know if I meet the criteria)
