Thanks for the Great Photos!

Bill, have you been able to find out information out North? Am interested in what happened after they brought the two Arroyos together at Miramar. Wonder if Salvot's survived.?
Keep up the good work!

Skeet...... The storm came straight up the center of the Sea of Cortez about 70 miles offshore at Loreto. It generated some big seas, but apparently there was little rain in the mountains. There is no water at all running in the arroyo south of town. I doubt the wind ever exceeded 50 knots or so and there was little wind damage.

Sorry, can't answer that question. But maybe some one else in town could:?:
Any idea Bill Ehrhardt, Bajadan or anyone for that matter.
And is the highway from Nopolo to town passable:?:

Thank you kindly for the updates and timely photos.

You just made my day..........here in Oregon. I was squirming all last evening thinking about my Calle Preparatoria lot.

Now let's hope the goop subsides and Loreto goes back to her usual infrastructural challenges!

I checked the roads out from Centenario (just north of La Paz) at 1PM.

The army checkpoint soldiers said that the highway to Loreto was open, although I saw little or no traffic coming from there. There were allowing northbound vehicles.

South into La Paz was a different story. Cars were lined up at the first vado (about 3/4 mile) south of Centenario and although I did see a semi make it, I don't know if he got past the following arroyos. A couple of macho dudes in pickups made the try, but stopped at a high spot about 1/2 way across the first vado and watched the semi, who seemed to be wading water over his axels. No cars, Jeeps, or similar vehicles were trying.

Took us from 8:30 to 2PM to get into La Paz our dog was at the vet. We had good clearance but some (all) were scary.

Can anyone along the Mulege River report? Did it stay within its banks? How about The Orchard? Any flooding?

I can't cross my fingers because my fingernails are embedded in my computer desk. I am hitting the keys with my nose. I'm getting close to banging my head on the keyboard.:o:lol: Maybe some kind soul can save my keyboard and my forehead. Whenever I use my head it comes out like this: $#*&%@!!)0+
