So far the contest to determine who is the most caring, compassionate, and politically correct, is close. Can't someone come through with a tie breaker?:lol:

Show one!!!! Just effing one!!!

By your baloney numbers I have to assume 25% of the population has removed themselves from the pool of humans that are biologically concerned with propagation of the human species.
What indigestible, baloney crap.

I don't believe homosexuals are born as such. I believe everybody is a product of their environment.
Gays......straights...homos...queers.... dykes...cal'em what you will...are all formed from day one of their life on earth. There is no queer gene, and we arn't brainless ducks.
There is however a propensity for the species to be straight and biologically interested in reproduction.

Add to this IMHO, they have no "rights" to marry and receive equal fiscal "rights" in our society.
Rights are clearly stated in our Constitution, and marriage isn't mentioned for anybody...gay...straight....or any other weird reasons.

Why do you have to fan the flames of this sht, Howard?

Ignor-anus:lol:

I'm curious how we went from Rupaul to sex filled, gay parades....seems like a stretch to me.
Dennis you seem to be quite the expert on this topic...at least in your opinion. I'm still thinking a few sessions with your shrink will bring out some revelations:light:

After forty years, nothing yet. Still working on it.

In the meantime, perhaps we should inform your local PTA about your obsessive quest for alternative understanding.

Waddayathink? You wanna callem? If you don't, give me their phone number and Ill take care of it for you while you ponder that "ignor-anus" comment..

JoJo---------if you had read the thread, you would know.

And, somebody else asked if I was a "Tea Partier"-----just what IS a "tea partier"??? I am a Conservative, I vote Republican, and I try to listen to everybody, hard as that is sometimes---------if that makes me a "tea partier" then so be it, and I am proud of it.. (I guess, but I really don't know if I meet the criteria)

Barry

PS thanks Dennis for the kind words.

What a cop out Barry, especially when you're taking shots at me.

Here is what I think. I think many ultra conservatives harbor these homophobic thoughts towards gays, but since we are living in modern times, and many people are generally more tolerant. It's no longer cool to show hateful homophobic feelings towards gay people, just like it's no longer political correct to use the "N" word against blacks, although racism towards blacks is still quite active in this nation, and the racist remarks are more hidden. The same thing with Mexican immigration in this country. It's not PC to say even among conservatives that I hate Mexican immigrants, and so you'll hear, " it's not immigrants that I hate, it's only the illegal Mexican immigrants that I hate, and they will go on with the most vile hateful remarks against undocumented Mexicans, But when you call these people on their bigotry, they say, "who me, no I'm not a bigot, it's only the illegal Mexican immigrant I hate. I'm not a racist!"

You just know these types will freak out if any Mexican moved in next door to them papers or not. Well I think the same thing is going on with with thread about gays, a certain kind of homophobic person will act like a victim , and say it's the gays that are shoving down their lifestyle down my throat and I'm not going to take it. It's almost laughable to hear these types claim they harbor no homophobic views when they seem to live to bash gays directly, indirectly and claim they are the actual victim here against gay radicals.

People are people, you can't stereotype them. I had a very dear older male gay friend. I have also had some good friends who were totally heterosexual. I have had friends of color who were better friends than friends my own race. Just because a person is "gay" I think it is ridiculous to lump them into one category and generalize about them. Anyone who lumps people in a category without looking at them individually, has not fully matured socially. Joe, let them be. If they want to take such a one dimensional view of the world, that's their prerogative.

Gee whiz, Joe...If you can't call a Black guy a "Nerd," what can you call him? We need something since you can't pronounce most of their made up names...Shinola....Shlippidydoo....Shlamabama.......can't keep up with all of them.

Maybe you and Bajablueboy can couple up and give us the new, secret code.

Another thing you should know by now...there is no more racism against Blacks. They are definitely the fastest men on earth. That Hussein Bolt runs as fast as a bullet. I wonder if that's how he trained......running faster than a bullet?

Do you know what Bolt ate to win the Gold Medals in the Olympics Dennis? He hated Chinese food (the Beijing Summer Olympics) so he ate 100 McNuggets from McDonalds a day at 47 calories a pop, washed down with his favorite beverage, he had almost 6000 calories a day. The key to success, chatarra from McDonald's!!

A few days ago I saw the movie, Bad Grandpa.....and laughed more than I have in a long time.

The guy is outrageous in some of his "skits", as he says and does so many "inappropriate" things (some are certainly "politically incorrect") that we realize are inappropriate....but are so damn funny.

He survives many situations that one might think would lead to fisticuffs....but the tolerance of folks is impressive.

The movie turns as it goes on and brought a tear or two to my eye near its ending as it had a point to the story.

If you can, go see it.

Some Old White Guys can pi$$ some people off, for sure.....

The guy in the movie was poking fun and pushing the limits....but people's tolerance won out in the end....and the Old White Guy's heart opened up.

I think that a Gay person has a Gay Gene.

There are differeant Gens in all People. What makes a person White?

What makes a Person Black?

What makes a Peron Asian?

If you look at thebehavior of Anumals you see the same actions.

We are all Incividuals!

Of Course various Groups try to put down People that they do not Like. Part of Human Nature??

As far as I am concerned I do not care or Judge a Person on His or Her Sexual Oreintation.

Damn....every once in a while you come out with some good ol' fashioned common sense .... Those of us in the Old White Guy Club have to move over a bit to make room for guy next to us on the bench.

Thanks for making some room :saint:
