Thanks for all the great responses! We will wait for another opportunity when in another vehicle or other with a group.

FYI my first trip in Baja was in a Ford Ranchero in 1977, to Puertocitos when it was dirt from Felipe south. Next trip was in 80, all the way to CSL in a Honda Prelude. Lots of great adventures.
