I'm with Mexray......I too have a '89 Bronco! It's been all over Baja's back country as well as our California deserts. It's never let me down and has
over 240K miles on the clock.
I also have a V10 Excursion 4X4 that I use to drag my 7000# boat in Baja. As you can see, I love Ford my Ford trucks!

My company truck after crashing into trees coming down the mouintain and the steering broke. $13,000 to repair. Never was the same again. Got rid of
it this year. I drive a company Tahoe now.

The Desert Tank has ----- 285,000 miles on it ---- well documented miles as most know. Keeps on ticking with lots of love and care after adventures
in the land of Baja.
We tend to run the back roads sometimes in the night --- why? Haven't figured that out yet...nothing like running Calamajue Wash in the pitch black
dark for a good time!
Earlier this year we custom fabricated a flatbed that has a secure location for all your "stuff" tires, jack, tool box and of course the FridgeFreeze
for the icy Tecate/Pacificos --- no more "stuff" being strapped down in the bed of the truck and flopping around for miles of endless washboard near
Bufeo's Casa ---- we can fit two Honda XR650R's on the bed strapped down and still run a decent pace ----
And now thinking about it - it'd be a great platform/table for Nikki or that bicycle gal to perform that dance called ---- wait I can't remember ----
Oh, it's come back to me - A Table Dance! LOL

In the winter I use this on the mountain. I thought of taking it to the sand dunes, maybe.

Careful readers of this forum will remember that this one LOVED running around the desert,
but flew apart and seriously stranded me on the pavement. '96 Sidekick, 16's and a 3" lift...and for sale cheap!

Bought it in early '95
Towed it home, worked on it a while and brought it to La Paz. Climb anything but a tree, pass anything but a gas station.
Finished the '95 Baja 1000 (although I didn't start it), David K co-drove it in '01 (for a mile or so), beach launched a few boats, or one boat a few
times.
Made six or eight trips to the US, as far north as Port Orchard, WA and down to CSL.
Now it's happy to go to the dump every month or so.
All that for $1700.

Probably half that if I only drive it to the dump. Actually I keep it as a back-up since I live on an unpaved street and it does occasionally get
muddy.
