How did I get an anonymous post onto this forum ?

I thought their access was limited to the "Baja Questions and Answers" forum ?

Dumping ALL of your cookies will also dump the cookie that "recognizes" your computer so you don't have to log on every visit.

Anonymous posts seem to work on the "suggestions" topic.

Who knows what other problems you could have with other sites if you deleted all your cookies. Then again, who knows what problems you might have had if you had left all those cookies there?

So again, just delete the cookie "fidpw37" that has as content "over 18." Not all your cookies.

Tossing your cookies: don't do it on your keyboard.

Seriously...I use Safari on a Mac. In Safari you can go to Preferences, then Security, then View Cookies. Select and delete any unwanted cookies. Maybe that works on Netscape?

But if you are using Windows, then I would reccomend tossing your cookies on the keyboard.

I've tried a few. Explorer works well for me......

Always have a virus vaccination! I just don't like the impromtu shutdowns that Microsoft initiates for updating Windows. Very irritating to wake up to see the machine has shut down for the update.. Even when told not to.

Doug
As far as I am concerned you can leave it the way it is.
Now that I dont have to look at off topic to get to the good stuff, I can certainly live without ever going back into off topic. As a matter of fact, it would probably be good for me. Its kinda like riding by an accident, you know that you shouldnt look but you have to sneak a peek and the next thing you know, you are so sorry that you did. I have been very sorry on several ocassions that I opened a post over there. I am sure thankful that you have that area for people to vent. Some of them appear to need it.:saint:

I think this is now handled... if you've entered the password, the off-topic should NOT now appear in today's posts.

Let me know if I'm wrong by chance.
