Well it's hallowed eve and we are heading to the ghost town of San roque to commune with the spirits there...here in Asuncion, Halloween is considered
diabolico...devils work so kids aren't allowed to dress up or go trick or treating...but day of the dead is coming up which everyone celebrates
here...big hangover on Nov.3....

We just had the neighbor kids over for some treats. One wore a mask that scared me...Frankenstein....looked like my ex-wife on steroids.
Summanus....ancient Roman Nightly Thunder God. He liked refrieds too.

The last four years I have gone to Mexico City right about Halloween, but I have always missed Dia de Muertos -- my trip ends up being either right
before, or right after the day. I so want to see Dia de Muertos!!
How is the Dia de Muertos holiday in Baja? Is it the huge event it is in Central Mexico? It really does seem to be a touching and healthy treatment
of the loss of loved ones.
