Which Hummer?

H1 6.2, 6.5 turbo, or alpha with Duramax? I am not sure of milleage of these motors.

H2 only only motor 6.0 or 8.0?, not sure = 6 to 8 mph empty

H3 inline 5 gets 17 to 20 but wont pull much

Yugo

The Yugo was a Fiat Design (128 I think) built under license in Yugoslavia. A crappy Italian design built by Socialist laborers. Doomed from the start.

Italian, huh? One thing is for sure...the Yugo wasn't built like a Mazzaratti, a Farrari or Sofia Loren.

No Ferrari !

No, it wasn't built like a Maserati or a Ferrari. It was built like a Fiat, which already owned the WORST Frequency of Repair record in the U.S. market. Built by a bunch of Dregs in Commie Country.

My favorite Yugo joke

Yugo?

No. First, I go. Then you go.

When all is done and said, what self-respecting vulnerable person would ride around in a Yugo? I mean, they do understand style, dont they?
Come to think of it, Why would anybody want to ride around in a car that looks like an ammo box?

Nah, the VW Thing was the car that looked most like an ammo box. The Yugo looked more like a cardboard box. Come to think of it, I've had some refrigerator boxes that were more durable than a Yugo. Probably faster, too, if you slapped some wheels on 'em.

Actually, it's the Hummer that reminds me of an ammo box but, you're right. The Thing has it beat.

Oh allright then........................
Why does a Yugo have a heated rear window ??
To keep your hands warm when you are pushing it !!!

How do you double the value of your Yugo ??
Put a gallon of petrol in it !!

The last Yugo made had 16 valves.......
4 in the engine and 12 in the radio !!!!

we had the same joke also for the VW BUG (which DID have twin exhausts), and the Joke would continue with " why they have so small windows" - So you can't see which idiot owns such a car.
And "Why they don't have reclining seats?" - so those Idiots can't multiply!
And so it went on and on.
(my Dad's first car was a VW Bug, I grew up with them  )
And it was also MY very first car

The Yugo was brought to the US in the 80's by a friend of mine, Malcolm Bricklin, who was also the original importer of Subaru and manufacture of the Bricklin car. Yugo was crap and faded into the sunset when Yugoslavia fell into civil war. He is now setting up a company to import cars from China. http://www.vvcars.com/ for all those who may find it interesting.

Nova ?

Beginning in 1962 (or thereabouts) the "Nova" designation has been used on a number of Different Chevrolet vehicles, including their joint project with Toyota in the U.S. where they built both the Toyota Corolla and Chevrolet Nova (same car, different logos). That vehicle got pretty good ratings by Consumer Reports and others. I'm not sure what the current Nova is (if they're still using it).

Which one didn't YOU like ?
