Old man Grizzly... 16+ yrs

Old and well worn, like a well loved teddy bear...
Shing cannot go to bed at night without old Griz on her pillow... Guess who has to go find him and lift his tired old bones up on the bed....

Griz was 21 lbs. in his prime... 1/2 bobcat and 1/2 domestic cat, but always very gentle and shy.

? ? ? What is my kitty photo limit?? I have "a few" more....!!

Brother Bruce calls us "cat ranchers"... and we have a herd!!

"Shao Mao"

Mandarin for small kitty....

Rotten disposition
Cranky,
Hissing,
aggressive, (swatting at us when he was (easily) upset (no claws FORTUNATELY... he came to us that way...)) otherwise we'd be frequent fliers at the blood bank....
Flat faced honery brat with a ssssseriously ssssour puss....
Wouldn't trade him for a million bucks!!!
(at least not while Shing is looking...).

Skittles... aka Skitty-bird

Skittles.... one of a kind... always purrrfect fur, fussy eater, a dignified purrrfect lady....

She can jump nearly straight up - from a stand still - over 6 feet - to the top of the fridge where she likes to sleep... up where it is warm.... and away from the prankster "Puff"... our graceful little Skittles... she's a one-man-kitty... (mine).

And Bugs... "Buggy"

Who is very smart.... she was helping Shing improve her brush technique here.... She's the brains in thissssss family.
She was yet another abandoned stray who nearly lost her life because of the careless insensitivity of a human...

What is that saying... the more I learn about humans, the more I love my cat....

Shark,
Great pic of Buzz! Those lava rocks are tough to walk on. How'd the dog handle it? Buzz looks a little like my old dog Bo who died about 12 years ago. I haven't owned a dog since. I still have dreams that he's leaning on me, smiling at me. I might steal your pix.
Thanks!

This is Zeke and Rita; actually Ezekial Banana and Marguarita Banana; they are husband and wife.
(My then 2-year-old, added the banana for the yellow color)

This shot is from two years ago but our current weather is the same ! We all really want to be in Baja; only 4 weeks to go !!

Seeing all these beautiful animals reminds me that one of life's dirtiest tricks is that damn 7:1 ratio on doggie years vs. human years. ++Ken++
