There are many social assistance businesses coming into the area. Most I have seen are into drug rehab and they seem to tend to the problems of U.S. connected individuals. Desperate individuals. I knew one. He went into a program in Maneadero and transfered to San Felipe. He, with others in the program, spent their days digging through trash cans behind reataurants and grocery stores for discarded food. This was their job in support of their community. A.A. would minister to their moral needs and deficiencies.

This reminded me of the board-and-care industry in the states. Needy individuals, often mentally ill, are piled up in a house and fed as much pasta as one can hold. The operators of these business, with their contracts with the county, are so well subsidised that they buy more houses and do it again and again.

Somebody is subsidising these businesses which are popping up all over the place here. Probably a county or state in the U.S.
This guy above isn't making his efforts out of altruism. He's doing it for profit. He needs money to fix up those junky Porsches and Rolls Royces.

I'm sorry for his daughter's terrible experience, if it happened. I don't believe anything else he says so, why would I believe that?

I lived in Rosarito for a couple of years and don't ever remember seeing a run-down mansion anywhere.

My call is.......... A giant load of crap.

Larry --------
Probably so. If it was used as an instrument in an unlegalized activity.
If you opened a tire shop without proper papers, it would be reasonable to assume that your shop, tools and all, would fall into the hands of the authorities.

furthermore, what constitutes a rag sheet in your eyes. derogatory remarks can also be found in the sunday union tribune on page (a25) the week in mexico.

the house you see in the picture was the finished product of all the work that was done to it. the web site is genesis-mexico.com it was after it looked that good, that someone wanted it back. afterall, it wasn't the owners money that fixed it. it was mine.

I remember reading that article. It didn't hold water then.
If he in fact bought the mansion/house, he would have to have been legal in one aspect or another, FM3 with a fidecomiso or corporation. He mentions neither.
His deportation scenario doesn't wash either. I was deported and I'm familiar with the procedure. He doesn't mention any dealings with immigration or their hand in the deportation. What he mentions is an ejection by some nebulous police department.
This is total BS. It doesn't work this way.

I hate slander as we see it here. Unknowing, unstudied nonsense.
I like studied and refined slander. It makes sense.

But, this guy doesn't.

Larry ----
I know it to be true in practice. I had an aquaintance who had a data base business in Ensenada, illegal, with about twenty work stations.
Lost it all and there is a warrent for his arrest so he wont contest the ownership of the property.

By the way, you are correct. Dont assume to know the laws of Mexico, especially if you're not in a position to buy the decision.

deported, with machine guns aimed at our heads by fully armed Mexican police at 3M in the afternoon on October 3, 2006. .. The only thing they didn’t get, luckily, was a few bucks that I hid in my shoe earlier that day to pick up an old motor home. This is what we’ve been living on.

DocT:
You came here looking for advice and support, yes?
It's just that your postings sound like off center ranting rather than what I assume is your objective. The gringo gazette says you are living in a San Diego hotel room. What size shoes do you have, that hold enough cash for you to live in even a budget hotel for over two and a half months?

Could you maybe try to win our confidence first before going off?
Bruce has some darned good questions, that if answered, will help us to help you.
