I am sure Doug or another PC guru can explain it, but we see a box with a red x next to the photo name or later a link to a photo (but it too is blank).

I am guessing the web site you are storing your photos on does not allow hot linking the pictures to Baja Nomad.

How about using Browse to post from your files (if under 50 kb)???

I think this explains it: "Here I will post 3 pictures from another author, of a place that I have been planning to visit, can somebody guess where is this place"

Where are the photos? On another web site?

You may have just gotten a shortcut (link) to the photos, and not the photos themselves. Since the links are on your computer, you can't upload the actual pictures.

38th reply to ???

I don't understand. Late last year (12-06) I spent many hours writing and piecing together my latest Baja trip report with photos and tons of details. After a few weeks my post had received a dozen replies, all positive and filled with praise (thank you very much to all 12 of you).

All fun I guess. :)
