Less than 1/2 of any "airstrip' has been constructed.


I land on DD on a regular basis for the Flying Samartians. Only 1/2 of the width of the runway was built, and there is no infrastructure --no access roads, or any other improvements.
Mike was correct in saying that the airstrip would be unusable at many times due to the coastal fog. In fact I had a hecka time landing there a couple of weeks ago when I had to find a hole about 7 miles South to get under the fog.
Leaving early in the next morning , it was even worse, with no holes.
