A friend went to Parral Canyon ranch a few weeks ago and reported new fencing and locked gate near where we all met that day, David. Haven't been there my self, but believe it's closed off again. Guess we were lucky to have gotten in when we did.

David K, I did not get close to the bottom of the grade. Just checked out a couple of tenths of the wash at the mine end.

David, could you locate that La Torquesa road on a larger map so I could see where it is? I've never been on that one...thanks.

The west side reaches Hwy. 1 just south of Pedregoso boulder mountain...
