Those spotfins look a lot like an Atlantic Croaker. Down at the deep-water oil
rigs off the mouth of the MS River they're called Golden Croakers. Taste a little strong, but not bad.

While Pescador was playing with his minnow my fish (almost) took a shot at it.

baitcast You've got a pound or two of counterfit scallops there. Tomas Tierra. About those Seirra, called 'em "Spanish Mackerel" way back when. We'd salt 'em, smoke 'em, broil 'em, fry 'em and enjoy 'em.

Oh man, first Skipjack Joe gives away one of my secrets and now you go and give away my super secret. I guess those boats from Punta Chivato have
been following me around with spyglasses to see what my secret was and it was something as simple as "sticking my feet in the water to create a
feeding frenzy"
