Very good news indeed! Although I don't know Ted and Judy, it could have been any one of us with boats. It's nice they had Nomads, other friends and rescue personnel concerned and searching.

Last year I bought a kicker motor from Octavio, the same guy I bought the panga from a couple of years ago. Everyone in Mulege knows him. Anyway, when I started to tell him in Spanish why I wanted a kicker motor, he cut me off and said in English, "I know!---no want go Guaymas." ;)

Tony......
If it happens, take a phone and stay in touch. I know of a place in Guaymas where you can spend the night and you won't want to leave.

No. Was it the incident involving pangueros off one of the motherships? Did a guy die?

No, these guys got off safe, but it was close. They were there for over a week and were down to drinking their own urine. I think the series was called Amazing survival stories.

Dennis,
That gives a whole new meaning to "any port in a storm". What a warm, fuzzy feeling!
