work slows down

Well, Juan's half way now...work slowed down the last couple days as Juan's helper went back to diving for sargasso as the swell & wind has gone down a bit. But he's pluggin away at it solo...anyone wanna come and mix cement in a wheelbarrow and carry rock...something like those popular "chop wood, carry water" programs!!
Tomorrow Juan has to work sargasso too and then Sunday is party day..Dia del Padre...AND voting day for our new mayor...it will be a very close race between 3 popular hombres...then to top it off, there is a big horse race in the afternoon....whew...lots of tecate's to be swilled.

Saluda a Juan, Shari, and tell him he is doing a wonderful job. Maybe someday I will shoot down from El Rosario for a couple of days and we can play and sing the 4 or 5 Ranchera songs I know.

Hey Shari-

I'll be down in a couple of weeks and am always willing to help out a bit. Juan and I might have to go and find some yellowtail as well.

Bboy...the birds are showing off the island and Juan is dying to get out there and troll a bit...we need your luck amigo to start the season off.
Juan would be honored to jam with you Elinvest...Juan knows hundreds of songs that you can strum along to...it will be a night to remember...while Juan is an excellent guitarist, YOU are a great singer and I a not too bad cantinera!. We need Dennis to come and drim though! and gypsy to do her dance... Lets do it!

I am patiently waiting for the official (when Juan says so) opening of Asunsion YELLOWTAIL SEASON. Sounds like a good excuse for a big Nonmad fiesta.
So please let Jaun troll through the birds!
I'm still trying to get to Bola for there season. I figure another week is better anyway. I'll fish with Jose Rosas for sure. And I'm going to the big island this time too!
So just put one of your excellent yellowtail pictures up and I'll be there.
Where shall I stay? I need private quarters( you, know incase I get "lucky"). ;D

I'll bring my congas, bongos and a bunch of other percussion instruments I have that I can never remember their names. I just know how to work 'em...

God I love music.

I even play better when I drink more.

Really, I do.

Alcohol even makes me look mas guapo...

This time we can hide the naked canuck kids behind our wall!! Juan wants to build a rock tub type thing...maybe figure out how to make it a hot tub with solar heater or something...a challenge. I do miss the mushroom season though and the adrenalin rush of encountering bears on my mushroom hunts and berry picks ( o how I long for a huckleberry)...maybe save me some dried chantrelles.

Shari and other canucks: a few years ago I was on a early morning drive about half-way up the inside coast of Vancouver Island and came across a berry patch. I got out to pick some and after a few handfulls looked up and a brown bear was sitting in the patch looking at me, about 30 feet away. Yikes.

Santiago...that is real normal...but as long as you don't look them in the eye and dont impede on their berry area...they're cool.
Today being Father's Day AND voting day for the mayor...work is suspended...partying has begun. The day will wrap up with a terrific afternoon of horse racing. Yipee aye aye yippee yippee eh yippee EH!...EH!
