Older that Comitan!!! 77 years May 17th, went into Surgery May 28th, Doctor told me he would add 20 years to my Life.! I am feeling like I was 92{Mentally} until Comitan told me that "It will get better'! That I will be able to pull in a 50 Lb Yellowtail.

Made my Day. I will see you in La Paz.

Looks like about 75% of us are over 50 (I'm 64). That sure explains all the cranky posts recently with so many suggestions about how Mexico needs to change. Personally I'm not buying into that crap. I enjoyed Baja when I first went there 34 years ago and enjoy it still. I hope to be riding my old KLR650 around the back country for years to come, I'm showing my optimism right now by doing another engine rebuild on that 17 year old machine as well as putting a second rebuilt engine in reserve. Should keep me going till I'm 80 or so. For the record, in those 34 years of Baja travel I have had nothing stolen from me, never paid a mordida and only one traffic ticket. Been shot at but never in Mexico.
