Pompano, those big bulls must have been dueling for anyone to get that close. That is a great picture.
In the previous picture my lab Abby has just been chased up on the deck by the herd and wants in now!

Lancardriver...yes, these bulls were sparring and became locked together, as happens from time to time. These guys were lucky, though, a game warden injected one with a heavy dose of tranquilizer, and the other with a light dose. Then sawed one antler loose and both were free....the light dosed one running off a hundred yards and then laying down to rest. Both came out okay...Good job, warden.

Quoted, 'If these two bulls had not been discovered, and we had never gotten the call, they more than likely would have both died. Watching the bulls walk away, and knowing that we likely saved them from a slow death was definitely one of those moments that makes this job rewarding.'
