hola Sculpin,
the wave footage he took standing about where I am in my avatar pic . A couple of mid-day, before-the-wind-swung-around-slightly bumpy, everybody-went-in-for-lunch, high tide push, doesn't last long, freakish wave events that I like to lurk in the shadows and wait for. Not really a swell and too bumpy for the outside.

One of the last still shots was probably misleading - friend Janet and I way, way inside on another day.

That was way too cool. Reminds me of my surfing days in the mid to late 60's on the East coast of South Florida. The form of the waves over there are not as nice as what you have here, but it was really fun.

Surfed once in a hurricane in Miami when I was 16 years old (Hurricane Betsy). Dragged my board out on a fishing pier, threw it in, jumped in after it, got up on a nasty wave and wiped out. Never saw that board again (didn't have ankle straps in those days). Who knows where it ended up...

Thanks for sharing that.

This looks like another "Endless Summer" production.

I LOVE IT!
