It just shows how small we are and how overwhelmingly beautiful our world is.

I was trying to compliment you.

Thanks. ;););)

They are all beautiful, one of the reasons that I love living on the bay. I choose #5

a vote must go to 14, but 11 is the Sea of Cortez version of the green flash.

#5 in the first set-love the palm silouette (#3 would be cool if you could crop out the arch and chairs)

#13 in the second set- it very dramatic

all of them are beautiful, and several have the classic tropical sunrise colors that we all love.

Are we supposed to pick a fav or will there be more? or maybe a face-off between the top 2?

3rd set

Note:

I will post all the remaining sunrise photos in sets of 7. (I have about 8 -1/2 sets.) As the choices progress, I will add the current top 3 choices to the new sets of 7 so you don't have to scroll back and review at every new set.

Then please pick one from each entire set as we go along.

You can stay with your first choice if you think it is better than any new photo shown.

At the last post we will then tally the choices and have a face-off of the leading photos...
.. resulting in the final best sunrise photo of my album.

I will then make it my 2009 desktop background, use it for my stationary, and my next Xmas card. Thanks again, and the cold beers and snacks are on me...either Baja or Up North.

So far the scoring is:

#5 - 11 votes 1st
#14 - 4 2nd
#2 - 3 (tied for 3rd)
#11 - 3 (tied for 3rd)

Sooo... here are 2, 5, 11, & 14 plus the new set of 7:

I wonder if I could get a watercolor of one of those photos like the one I have of Rudolfo that you helped me get? Linda

Number five illustrates why I will choose the Bay of Concepcion over Alaska. 20 is a close second, but there are too many distractions.

Thanks for posting these. I can enjoy the view whilst in the ice and snow.

Peace,

Maxx.

Sure Linda,

Felipa is visiting at sister Madalyn's home in Boise now. You can contact Maddie to inform our watercolor amiga. Feel free to use any one of my photos that you like...just copy and paste, presto.

I have some more sunrise pics coming, though, so you might want to wait till all horses have finished the race.

There are some nice front runners in the race, and I was going with #.., but maybe I should wait to the home strech to place my bet..
Rumor in the padock is there is a dark horse in this race..
