ecomujeres, I did the update (BAJACAT), but I was using Bacquito's last post..
and you are right if you go in the middle of the weeks you don't get to share the place with locals, most of the people that I talk to on Saturday where from Ensenada..

It's a very popular spot I have seen all kind of cars up there clearence is not too much of a problen it's a nice spot. for a day trip or camping.:cool::cool:

We drove out too the Rancho last year after te rains it was unbelivable the damage it did to that river bed some of the older camping spots were completely washed out.

What JP said, the road was grade it on the south side of the arroyo,the main rd to the hot springs went right the middle of the arroyo, the heavy rains whipe out the old rd out, therefore the necesity of cutting a new road, and its well sign..After you make the turn in MX 1 you drive for 2 miles and then you male a left turn along a rd with the power lines, then you hit the arroyo it self and make a right along side of The Baja country golf course,the rd has been recently been grade it so is smoth and fast, but fast driving its not encourage, there is alot blind spot's on the way, and also some local traffic and you can loss your gear like I did..
