Poor old General Motors can't even catch a break in Baja. Chevrolet had the lowest number of drivers. My Ford (f150) came in 2nd. behind Toyota.

'06 Ford F350 Turbo Diesel Crew SRW. First diesel -- it's loud and smelly, hmmmm. Nice.
Have 2 alarms with 2 sirens -- second siren has a backup battery and cannot be turned off without a key and almost impossible to access without tools.
Also, 2 kill switches -- impossible to find. The truck could be broken into but it'll NEVER be started and driven away. Guess it could be
towed?

The 89's are notorious for bad paint. Comes off in soda cracker-size pieces. First time I noticed it I was in the carwash and these things that
looked like leaves were washing down the windshield. Only trouble was, it was summer and the trees weren't shedding.
I don't worry about damage or theft, although I'd really be bummed if someone did jack my ride.

1991 Ford 150 longbed, 2WD, fuel injected 302 (5.0 liter) extendocab XLT Lariat, power everything, 130,000 miles with a Callen cab over camper shell.
I paid $3,500 for it a few years ago. It could have 230,000 miles on it, but I don't think so.
Just finished a 4000 mile trip to the mainland. Runs smooth and doesn't leak or burn a drop of oil. Everything works.
I've had Dodge and Chevy trucks before. This Ford is the best of the bunch. The Dodge was a piece of junk and the tranny died on the Chevy.

Duramax, a civilized, quiet diesel.

Ford takes the lead!!
Y2K, F350 with the GOOD Ford diesel (is that an oxymarooon?). Only things to go out on me is the water pump and one injector. 157k now with numerous
towing trips with trailers in excess of 8k lbs. One trip of approx. 800 miles was towing slightly over the CGVW rating of 20k. I believe that might be
the equivalent of TOWING three or four Toyota Tacomas.
You cant send a Toy, to do a man's job.
