Are they building mausoleums or bombshelters? Some people really have bad taste and don't even know it. That home should have a better inviting entrance and as well as larger windows on the ocean facing side to optimize the oceanview. The other ones on the top look like mini mercados. But I guess its better than not being in baja so enjoy.

I am wondering why people can't just look at a photo and enjoy it or ignore it?

Do you guys ever want Beercan (or any Nomad) to show us any more?

Puertecitos is a 'special place' and not often visited... specially now with the new highway detouring completly around the town... Enjoy these rare views. If you don't like the style of construction, take it up with the Puertecitos Planning Committee... Don't bite the photographer's post!

Naw, maybe just anxious to hit the road in the morning... Just an observation... I don't want all the negative comments on Puertecitos to dicourage anyone from taking the time and effort to share their photos here.

You know, the 'if you can't say something nice'... kinda thing.

Have a good week Dennis!

I am wondering why people can't just have an opinion and express it. Just think how much terrific fun this board would be if we only said nice things. Frightening! :o

great pics Bob-
very nice casas too.
i'd like one there some day.
who's the builders?

all on leased ground?

Puertecitos sure is changing.

Bob - remember when chuck and Vicky stuck their 172 Hawk XP on that ditch with their nose gear and dug the prop? a few years ago.

they had one of the rock houses a couple of miles north of the RW.
ever see them?

Mike,I wasn't there when it happened

I haven't seen them in several years and it is said they moved?

Clara is hard to deal with at times, but she is bent on improving the village. I applaude her for that.

Beto Parra is the contractor and is a great person to work with.
Does amazing work with what he has to work with!

You still need to come down this winter for a visit .

Almost all of the "old originals" are gone.

I've been going there for 28 years and officially retired 5 years ago to live there during the winters. It has many advantages and of course some unfavorables.
