Wow Edguero, i thought I was so "earthy" collecting the water by hand, now I feel like a wimp ;)

BajaGringo, the greywater system will include the washer and showers only. (They recommend not using the water on edibles but i don't think it's for the same reason Bob mentioned). The system will go in the main house so it's at least a year from being installed and tested. Bigwooo researched the heck out them and was having trouble finding the parts to put together a system. The best, actually the only resource he found for parts was an Australian company who happened to expanding to the US. We bought a complete greywater system they were using as a demo for trade shows. I'll have him post more about it if anyone's interested, or he'll be happy to tell you more about in a pm BG.

You can count on the drip emmiters becoming clogged within a few months, even with a sand filter. Don't put emmiters on, just use straight thru 1/8" tubing (my personal experience).:yes::yes:
