I did not see any photos that included some campfires. I also see you cooked on portable stoves for most of your hot food.
However, knowing that part of Baja, I know you encountered some generous fishermen in fish camps that served you some hot meals also.
How were the arrangements for a chase vehicle to pick you up @ Mulege?

I'm a vegetarian and started out with 36 day worth of food. We only had a few fires. Hank and Rick got fish from several fisherman. We got a ride from
San Diego at the start from Jake Stachovak of Aqua Adventures. He is currently paddling around the entire Eastern US from Portage Wisconsin down the
Mississippi, through the Gulf of Mexico, up the Atlantic to the Erie Canal, through the Great Lakes back to Portage. I saw him on his trip this spring
when he stayed with us at Florida Bay Outfitters, (my winter gig) and Rick and Hank paddled with him last week as he crossed the mouth of Delaware

We got a ride back to San Diego with Cliff Taylor. A wonderful gentleman who lives in Mulege' and rents some cool houses there.

Wow... Joel... what a fantastic trip you guys made and professionally documented in this video.
I really didn't have time to watch the whole thing, when I started, but could not stop watching it. Before I knew it, it was at the end.
The rock wall you guys built to protect against the wind was a great idea! Or, maybe it was already there?

Bob the rock wall was built by Rick while we were stranded by El Norte. I tend to just walk and wander when wind bound. That may be my favorite part.
The wandering that is.
