Or...rip off some scenes from that Photoshopped calendar. Most of them are beautiful.

Great Job, but It’s a little to dark just lightened it up so you can see more detail.

How about a cave painting image? This would be more symbolic of Baja than the calendar.

Your work is really great, very, very nice. But I agree with shari ---the first thing that came to mind when I looked at it was that the calendar just does not work for Baja.

So I would like it better with a different image, but to find the ultimate Baja image will be tough. Baja means something different to everyone.

Nice job----but also agree that it is a little too on the vampire side.

Then again, you think you can please everyone?:lol::lol:

Uhhhhhhh....Jeremias, you forgot to add the little "TM" after BajaNomad.com ;)

You guys must never have heard of copyright or trademark infringement?

I think if Doug ever tires of his chosen logo for his site, he'd probably have solicited input from the members....but since he didn't, I personally think it's a bit tacky volunteering changes to his chosen logo in a public arena without having asked Doug privately if he'd be interested. Smacks of being nominated for a full make-over in public or on television.

Just my dos centavos!

T-Shirt Images

Jeremias,

You have inspired us to make our own t-shirts! My wife and I have tried to capture the "spirit" of Baja - as we see it. We stole your idea of using Power Point for the design program and pirated every graphic and logo in good fun using a simple screen capture program or free clip art on the web.

For the image:

We added glinting sun glasses to the pirated pirate image to reflect hipness and coolness.

Bleeding bullet hole represents the deep sadness and shame of boarder violence with no end.

Dancing flute glyph celebrates our love of soulful Mexican music. Reverse glyph image represents a jazz inversion that's still true to the original melody (think John Coltrane).

Added fictitious website for the best BN soap opera discussion ever and two mini turtle clip art images.

We could never improve on Doug's (BajaNomad) original idea and logo so we simply added an "a" to the title.

Finally, added a phrase in cobbled up Spanish as a tease to the "Peace, Love and Fish Tacos" motto. It translates loosely as "I would love to have a piece of your fish taco..."

Production was simple. A few shots of tequila, Avery iron on t-shirt transfers, white BVD tees and voila! A home made Baja Nomada shirt. Fun to make and better than using a magic marker. Thanks for the inspiration!

If you want the original PPT files PM me. They're about a half meg each in size.

T-Shirt Image with red background

...and the second one - with a red border to fill it out a bit for a more colorful look.

Nice graphics although the translation of the copy seems strange.
"Un pedazo" translates to "A piece" and who could eat only one piece of a good fish taco.
