'....entire road is in the Mexican news almost daily about some body find"
Where can i find a link for this statement? Oh, never mind; I see that your aunt step-neighbor in-law told you that.

Sorry, Maryellen....I'm throwing the BS flag. I travel that road several times a month. There is plenty of traffic all times of the day/night and now
they are building residential and commercial along almost the whole length of Corridor 2000. In the last couple of years I have not seen, or run over
any bodies in the road and have not seen any headless bodies hanging from lamposts or overpasses....ditto for banditos, either seen or not. Please
provide links to "daily" news articles. If you have first hand info, please post it.

entire stretch before approaching populated areas. |

Not totally hysterical. B-2000 has been a body-dump for years, due to it's relative isolation.
Don't ask me to verify this...it ain't my job, but the newspaper reports are frequent. I drive it every time I cross the border and like never see
law enforcement on the road. There are long stretches where I seldom see anybody.
I don't drive at night.

Yes, Dennis. When it first opened it was quite the body dump, and occasionally they find another one now a days. But it as safe to travel as anywhere
in Baja now. I "usually" travel in daylight, but sometimes at night. Have seen Rosarito/TJ/State and feds on the highway with an occasional military
vehicle......have not heard of Banditos or vehicle hijacks/robberies in the last 5 or 6 years.

We use that road always, not at night! but we did get stop by TJ PD,
and we got away with a $ 100,00 fine?? But after many trips
back we are still good with this road. We often have a trailer, and
it is much easer!
