There will be champurrado and tamales at the Dia de Reyes event tomorrow in Tijuana - as there's been at each of these events. As well as a Rosca de Reyes.

Yes I do, but those I mentioned we got at a little stand on Avenida Lopez Mateos in Ensenada!

Not sure why, but I love Mexican potato chips, the ones in the yellow bag with the skin still on them. They go great with a Margi!(kinda thick and crunchy).

I love paletas too- coco, mango, piña. They have some really good ones at Costco and Smart & Final in CA that i'd buy before we moved here and I had them all the time. Almost as good as the ones at a Michoacana.

It's 2½-3 hours of potholes and washboard to get home from the big town now so no more frozen stuff anymore. I love where I live but I'd pay handsomely for a little fruit now and then out here in the desert. In fact, skip the paletas.

Fruit!

the guacamole flavored ones in the white bag are great. wonder why they only sell them in the tiny bags when the other flavors are also sold in large bags?

It takes fewer from the small bag to kill a rat than those from the large bag which are usually crushed up and sprinkled around for ants.

Buen Provecho.

No one has yet mentioned Mexican CocaCola. Filled with lots of real sugar and a good snort of caffeine - no better way to blast yourself through the day.:biggrin:

Got addicted to those darn things years ago, and used to "smuggle" a bunch back home. A few years ago, they started US distribution. Now I can find them all over the place.

Takis are from Barcel. Barcel is a unit of Grupo Bimbo.
