The map is right on, however once on the ice house road, just follow the signs, even after you think you're lost, keep going. Getting home in the dark is definitely a challenge, best use the GPS "track back" feature.

ncampion is right....just follow the back side of those signs...it's easy.

Leaving Ray's...go right..then left...

..then left again.....

...left once more...

Opps, somehow we're back at Ray's Place...

...well, what the heck, might as well have a cold one while we're here, right?...or should I say left?

Look out ncampion, I mentioned how convenient it was to follow the cyber crumbs back to the hiway after a night at Rays, a couple of Nomads insinuated that I was challenged for even suggesting a GPS.

Speaking of "Ice House Road" - the Mulege maestro mecánico is located on Ice House Road just after you turn off Hwy 1).

His name is Oscar Rodriguez Luna - just ask for "Oscar de la mecánica". His business name is "La Chispa".

Fall 2012 Opening Date?

Anybody know when Ray's will be opening for the fall 2012? I will be in the area around October 10 and hoping that I will finally be able to enjoy a dinner at Ray's.

You guys need to go to "The Darkside" to find the answer to your question about Ray's former restaurant because you will not find the answer here.

Top notch place and great hospitality. Be sure to take a few Pacifico's along when you leave to wash down the dust from the trail.

Ray was located at Santispac for a while until the fire. Funny how those things happen....
