You are barking up the wrong tree with me. I live in Baja, No community is immune from crime. no sense trying to hide it. |
Just to clarify, rts551.....I hope you realize all I've said here was just me being sarcastic and trying to show that there are actually just as many
problems in the U.S as in Baja. Probably more. I love San Quintin and Mexico in general and I'm down there all the time as many on this board can
attest to. Just had lunch at La Differencia in T.J yesterday. |
Glad to hear that. With some people (not you I see) you just never know.

Oysters!! Will be good to have a half gallon of 'em. Some of those northern Gulf of Mexico marsh country big boys! Deep fried, raw, broiled and any
other way that comes to mind.

I only had one "near-miss" in San Quintin - by the Police who set up a road-block and asked me to step out of my vehicle. They acted like they were
up to something, but when they realized that I was traveling with several other Jeeps, they quickly asked me to get back into my Jeep and told me that
I could drive away.
For that reason, I am not concerned about "Brown on Black" crime, rather, "Corrupt Police on American Tourist" crime.

Are you getting the most out of life OR is life getting the most out of you ??
Twenty years from now you\'ll be more disappointed by the things you didn\'t do then the things you did.

That's fairly close to a HALLOWEEN foto, Kashey, with what looks like blood on the hands and
lips.

Thanks for the compliment, Udo...... However, tread lightly my friend. Don't
forget I probably have a few pics of you somewhere in my files... .. ...

BTW...
in regards to the poll...
Yes, I would (and will) visit San Quintin regularly.
My wife and I have made the trip from Ensenada just an a whim (even on the motorcycle), just so we can feast on the freshly harvested oysters as well
as the "CAMPECHANAS" and clams casino at the oyster stands. Those alone are worth the drive!
Plus the visit with Ron (bajagringo)...what else do you need out of a trip to Baja?
