Nosey,

I already did that. You're too busy muckraking to worry about who you hurt. A simple apology would do, but I won't hold my breath. Later....Much. - Stephanie

I know this isn't a democracy but I'd probably vote along with FrankO - why not keep a forum for those of us that like to wrestle in the mud from time to time. As long as they keep it out of the other forums.

Yeah - it does feel kind of weird here - think I'll just wash my hands and leave.

Don't make eye contact.

Braulio.

Ummmm, I note that the title of the off-topic forum changed. I just wanted to bring something else, other than the political stuff.
Apologies if this is to far off-topic.

Not sure I understand the comment/question.

The "Off-Topic" forum had its name more clearly defined, and now simply says 'Non-Baja ("Off-Topic") Forum'....

It's still the same thing/area.... for off topic discussions, which have mostly been political threads... but aren't necessarily supposed to be such.

I was just more clearly pointing out which forums were baja-related, and which one was not (or at least *trying* to make it more clear).

Make sense?

Lemme know.

Doug,
Yes it makes sense. I just didn't want to post things that were to far non-Baja.
I wanted to share a little of my experience away from SoCal (and Baja). I'm missin' it a mite.

To Baja Nomad

Just something that i wanted to ask. I have a forum of my own, so i know how to mess with the cpanels/moderating etc... Anyways I noticed that there is an 'EDIT' button on all members posts.

Just though I'd ask why. Thats all

Baja Bronco~Marissa~ NOT the administrator here --but the "Edit" is so 'you' can go back and edit your own post or if you feel the need (ever) you can go back and delet it! One thing -- if you start a topic then go back and 'delet' you delet the WHOLE thread you created --- this too comes in handy if the thread goes ugly (It happens somethings).;)

OK now I see you have found out how to do it ---David Ks' "Baja Photo pic (keepers?)"

You use ikonboard... the software used here is currently XMB, and XMB has it setup that way. The original poster, moderators, and/or administrators can all use that feature to modify each individual posting.

Thanks for your note.

Hi Marissa, The edit feature is great because we can go back and fix a typo, spelling error, correct or update an old post, or delete or remove negative things that may have been typed when 'hot under the collar'! :fire::yes:

Leave it, it gives the people with ventables someplace to vent outside of the general part of the forum.

Wow have I been asleep I just posted on this thread thinking it was new and people were unhappy with some of the postings this year BUT this goes back to 2003 doesn't anything ever change, I guess people will be people as always, and this great board will go on in spite of it all.
