The surfers won't say... but I will: No, that's not near Percebu... good guess however.:light::yes:

Haha. My initial photo post of the tundra by a river mouth is no secret.....its about 10 miles south of San Juanico. Think it's called Boca el Mezquital and it's a great place to chill.

What time will you be there? I'll take you some oysters.

If all goes well, probably 8pm. Leaving north county sd at 2:30pm. Can I put them oysters on ice?

In a cool place in the shade. They'll keep for 2-3 days.

Motoged, dig those pictures. Rally like the La Purisima shot with the Mesa. Also, the last shot which is a different view of that same shot I posted at the beginning of the thread.

I chose to haul ass trying to cross that river outlet a few years ago and blasted my from licence plate right off, floated for about 2 seconds before getting traction and continuing my way out of the river. Dumb move. Next time I'll take it slow. My tundra was a year old but after the salt water got to it probably made it 5 years old.

and my favorite shot of the day trip..............

My son found some skeletons.

What is this?

We also found a skull. I asked the water delivery dude in San Juanico what the skull was and he said "Lobo". I thought, "Wow, I got some type of desert baja wolf skull!!!!!!" only to realize he was saying sea lion skull. I'm an idiot sometimes.................good trip and more to come...................

Actually this pic is about 15 miles north of San Juanico (North of Ballena junction)....and my buddy parked at the river edge to guage the river crossing only to bury his front tire up to the axle in quicksand....took 1/2 hour of panic to get him out of that....I was sure his bike was going to be a beach ornament forever....here are the before pictures approaching that river crossing:

Yep. I will never do again. Good lesson. Tecate and testosterone fueled my decision.

Woody, I'll join you on the Baja excursion. It's a goal I have to not surf for once and just haul ass on the bikes for once!
