My bad for traveling in Baja and not going online at the hotels with wifi. Sad to admit that we were in the area Saturday, ignorant about this event celebrating the life of our friend.

Condolences to the family.

Ohhh nooo.....You missed Udo? I think he was standing right next to me at the door while we talked.
Ohh welll.....next time.
It was good to see you there, Ron. Nice to see your face without all the tubes and wires holding it together.

I just posted my thoughts on PBBB. Hope all is well for Kathleen. For you and Christina as well. [She looks really good]

I wish someone would have said you were around also.
I greeted everyone I thought I knew, and then some.
Next time BG!

Celebration of Life...

I feel like we should also celebrate the lives of those living, especially the lives of Ron and Cristina who were able to attend the memorial for Vince. That in itself is miraculous. God Bless the many Baja Nomads who cheered them through and the excellent medical attention they received along the way. Remember to do something thoughtful and kind for your fellow neighbor and Nomad...because once they are gone it is too late and regrets mean nothing after they are gone.

I couldn't agree more with this statement. It is a true blessing to have Ron and Cristina with us after what they went through. The hand of God was over both of them. The outpour of support they received from all Nomads, friends, strangers and family was unbelievable. Their love for eachother helped them to fight for a complete recovery. God bless you both. Vince must have been smiling down from heaven to see them both fully recovered.

My wife and I are still talking about the balloons that were let lose by the attendees.
The one white one (the one that Kathleen let go) was seemingly leading all the other balloons heading south...probably Bahia Asuncion.

It was great to get to meet Ron after reading his posts thru the years, of course quite a few other Nomads along with a ton of people came, the most people I have seen come to celebrate one of our friends here, it was very touching to hear all the comments made about Vince and Kathleen.
Thanks again to all the Nomads who were able to attend and to those who could not, Thanks for your kind words.
