Yes, I agree-it stopped somewhat abruptly. I saw this on CNN news.

The same type of event occurred years ago in the Mohave Desert in So. California. A large jet (707?) was crashed on purpose to test, I believe, the
flammability of jet fuel. As I recall the test was not done correctly but the results were impressive!!

Yes I remember that test. i think they were testing a new jet fuel that was supposed to be less flamable. It sure didnt seem to be less flamable.

Amazing!
Channel 4 news at 6:30 (~6:51 p.m.) is showing this video and discussing the event in the Laguna Salada.

"...the flammability of jet fuel"? I coulda saved them the expense. Uh yeah, it's flammable. Really - that test can be done in someone's back yard.
A airplane crash with explosion is devastating regardless. Are they trying to achieve an airplane crash with slow-burning debris? Lower
temperature? The fuel needs to keep the airplane in the air - priority One. I'll bet these are government grants funding out of work scientists.

The crash Baquito refers to tested a fuel additive "designed to suppress the fireball that can result from an impact," as well as other safety
features. I don't think there was any doubt that kerosene burns.

It was crashed on the lower Laguna Salada... and seen from Hwy. 5, about 65 miles north of San Felipe... The YouTube video was posted here months ago
when it happened, I do believe.

I searched the Discovery Channel and all they have posted is the episode they aired in April, nothing about the future but we will try and find a
future date:

I'm sure you'd have every agency out there from the e.p.a to the a.q.m.d. You'd probably even have the a.c.l.u. trying to charge some king of a fee.

Perhaps the same reason SCORE no longer races in the USA, only in Baja now... It's a shame to try and save lives, the enviros drive our research teams
to another country!
They crashed the plane on a pretty sterile dry (salty) lake bed... After watching the show tonight, I appreciate the reason... Before the show, I did
think it was stupid,.. sort-of.

Does the plane ever crash? I've tried to watch it twice and have fallen asleep during the bore-fest each time.... It really should have been a 30 min
show, way too much repetitive crap.
Shouldn\'t one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check or Sec.8 housing?
........... I had to pass one to earn it for them!
\"I\'ve now been in 57 states? I think one left to go?\"
