DE, your little compact is too small to shop at Costco. Minimum needed is a van or pickup!:O Don't forget to factor in refrigerated items? Maybe you could start the business in BA for the other expats & locals! Just think MMmmm Arrachera, salmon,cheeses, liquor, etc. Oh yeah, you'll need a freezer at home. I would head al norte. Tio

Sigh, I need a Freightliner with automatic transmission, that gets 30 mpg, and squeezes down to five feet in width to fit past oncoming KenMex big rigs. Yeah! With a sleeper, and microwave, and Wi-FI. Hydraulic life gate. Refrigerated.

But the little car packs a lot of stuff if you do it patiently chinese-puzzle style. I just hauled a quarter ton of esterico and river bottom soil in a couple of weeks ago.

The only way to transport refrigerated stuff safely down here is to put it in zip loc bags and brine freeze it, hard.

And then. And then...

I look in my billfold

(sigh)
