It would be kinda neat if someone could take a pic from this exact spot for us to compare.....altho' it wd be mostly trees trees trees now!

Well, here are a couple photos, the first is from the mission front door area, just to the side of the steps where the original photo was likely
taken... then the next is close to the front of some buildings in San Ignacio (from July, 2007, following a downpour):

Okay, if you see the roof of the red brick building in my photo (just past the blue tarp)... it matches the roof of the building with three doors in
the old photo!
In re-examining, maybe it's another building next door, now with a metal roof or replaced... ???

The Santa Rosalia pics show how much those Ficus can grow in fifty years. Their large shade trees out back next to the Municipal building now.
