We have looked at it before but this is our first stay. We will report back. Nice people.

El gato, sorry to dredge up an old post, but did you ever stay at the Hotel Mediterrane, and if so, was the experience pleasant? We're planning a trip to LP end of the month and the description/photos on their web site are very appealing. Mil gracias.

I recently went on a SCUBA dive boat trip for 9 days and assigned to the boat was an observer, Juan Rocha, of the La Paz port authority. I really want to go back to La Paz and asked him about La Paz' Hotel Gardenias - he confirms it is nice but basic.

Thanks to this board I find out about such nice places and can't wait to go back when I can spend more time than just passing through to jump a a boat trip.

LaPaz hotels

Just back from three days in LaPaz getting root canal!!!! Cheap & quick & certainly no pain now!!!! We stayed first night at The Gardenias. Great place for the price of $39.50 for two. Bar was closed and restaurant open only for breakfast. We moved to the Los Arcos for the next two days. Great hotel if you can afford the price. Ask for room 243 (Los Arcos) overlooking the pool, and we think the most quiet of all the rooms. Secured parking adjoining lot, and on the malecon. Close to everything, including our endodonista. Walk anywhere.
