Basic but fine for one night. It has a restaurant next to it if you want to eat, it is a Japanese sushi place and it has internet (which is why I went in).
I am happy to book a reservation for you, just let me lnow.
But it isn't close to the tourist part of Ensenada.

I sure wish they gave the hotel a different name - this seems to completely confuse Google.

Anyway, I might be interested. Can you give me a link to a web site? Or, tell me about what it would cost for a room with two beds?
he's not in real del mar, he's in a studio next to the park in sadm. its kinda hard to follow with a few topics going at once.

I am traveling with a friend.

I wanted to Ensenada anyway. Might be just as easy to get a cab at the airport, go to greyhound station, take a greyhound into TJ, then an ABC into Ensenada. Get a hotel there for the night, then rent a car, or something.

I sure tried. Google did not seem to understand. Anyway, I got the answer from somebody on Yahoo Answers.

Avenida Riverol 1075, Centro, 22800 Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico

Seems to be some hotels nearby for about $50. I might go that route.

San Antonio Del Mar? Nothing wrong with it. But my flight lands at 10:15 PM. By the time I got there, it would be around 2am.

I don't know if there would be anybody there to let me in.

I wanted to take a look at Ensenada anyway. Might make more sense to go to Ensenada first.

As I remember the last bus to Ensenada leaves at 9:30 pm from Tijuana. Just get a room in SD, book on Hotwire, where they have great deals, near the airport and leave in the morning.

Theoretically, I could do this (but another poster told me not to count on bus schedules).

----
Saturday 2014-04-12
2215 Flight lands at San Diego
2300 Take taxi to Greyhound bus terminal
2315 Arrive at Greyhound bus terminal
2335 Greyhound leaves

Sunday 2014-04-13
0045 Greyhound arrive at TJ central bus terminal
0100 ABC bus leaves TJ central bus terminal for Ensenada
0219 Arrive in Ensenada
----

You will notice there is only 15 minutes from the time the Greyhound arrives, and the ABC leaves. May be cutting it a little close.

It really is a good idea to stay in san diego. From the airport you can stay downtown or in point loma. In Point Loma, should you choose this scenario, there is a very clean and inexpensive hotel called the good nite inn. It is on Rosecrans, very near the freeway, so not an expensive cab ride. In the morning,. You could even take a cab to the trolley in old town, which is 5 minutes away and then take the green line to the transfer to the blue line which goes to the border. It is the LAST station and they announce it as such. Then, once at the end of the blue line, follow the hundreds who are going to Tijuana. (AKA. TJ). Walk across the overpass and do the buses to Ensenada oar wherever, as you wish.

Alternatively, stay downtown and be close to the main trolley station. Downtown is pretty expensive and the area around the station ain't pretty. IMO.

I think Walter bird brain is earnestly asking the questions. I also think the predators will eat him alive at 2 am in TJ.

I am thinking about staying here:

http://www.lospelicanosrosarito.net/

As the name implies, it's in Rosarito. Not that far across the border. Not that far from where I will be staying the rest of the week. Looks like a nice place. Right on the beach. And only $60 a night.

Los Peliconos is dirty, the room stinks, the TV does not work, WiFi does not work, there is no air conditioning. The place looked nice on the website, but it is a total dump.

The restaurant is nice.
