Just heard the guy took the road towards the dump just south of La Jola and the foot chase started somewhere out there towards Kennedy Cove.

The perp is a Sr Walter Martinez, a drug addled cowboy who until recently hailed from Cantu. The police told my wife that he is in for a long time especially seeing he used a weapon to jack the car. He has broke into my place 3 times and I believe he is responsible for many other break-ins around the Santo Tomas/La Bocana.

That is some excellent news.

Confirmed through a separate source that the perp was seen leaving the scene of two burglaries in La Bocana de Santo Tomas just days prior to the carjacking. I'm told that he also had numerous outstanding warrants and was in possession of stolen property.

It seems that the police are working overtime. This is a bad guy but not ours but another. I posted information from the Santo Tomas police which claimed Walter Martinez was the driver of the car that the cops were chasing. He wasn't. It was another bandito who was caught. Walter was picked the next day. 3 bad guys off the street. We got the information from the detective who was involved from the start.
