David,
You first asked if they were pet friendly....now you want to know if they hide your car and charge by the minute :?::?:

Does Jill know what you and Cacahuete are up to on those solo drives to Sandy Eggo ????

We stayed at Caracoles when it first opened. The owner, Raul, was once a honcho at the salt facilitiy. Unfortunately, at least when we last stopped there, no maintenance had been done since its opening. It has become long in the tooth.

Across the street Chevalo, if I have the name correct, built The Cowboy. He was a former panguero at the lagoon. He was adding on as recently as last year.

Just have to wonder how many rooms this town can afford.
GN's selling point is that it is mid-way on the peninsula and makes for a convenient two day drive.

When was the last time Goat went south? Bet it was not as far south as GN.

Maybe you ought to just stuff it. What I posted about Caracoles is absolutely correct. Last time we stayed there we had a broken bed frame. The walls were marred. That said, there was a time not long ago when it was the best place to stay in GN.

I'm merely posting about my personal experiences.

What's your issue with me???:?:

That new place looks really nice! If we give it business they will be able to maintain the place. Very smart move Shari to include the new hotel as the place to stay for whale watchers.

Unfortunately, it is too close to home so I guess we will never check it out ourselves.

Come visit La Bocana

Lengua...I suggest La Posada Don Vicente for ease of parking, turning around and security...they are completely walled in and close a big gate at night...nobody gets in there. They have king size good beds, good internet, an indoor pool, goodies in the office and is a hop skip and a jump away from Las Cazuelas restaurant which is excellent or Cowboy Tacos across the street...tell em Shari sent ya!

As mentioned old Don Vicente is a "character" and getting rather ummm...testy...his son is mostly running things and he is very quiet. Jesus, the afternoon and night guy is super nice.

MALARRIMO

An easy way to remember this common Baja place misspelling and for LOS BARRILES too is that two L's together make the Y sound... Mayarrimo or Barriyes... NOT! :light:

I just stayed one night in the new hotel.
Thanks to Shari, $480 Mex for one person....

No WiFi in the restaurant or room, no A/C - probably not needed in GN,
the restaurant nothing to write home about, no alohol, but everybody very friendly.

Yes, you need the swan from the bed, its the only towel
