Here is one about a shootout in Todos Santos too

awhile back the "plaza" jefe from Vizcaino got capped on the road between here & Vizcaino...he had just checked out of the hotel at the beach so they had that cordoned off. Cartel activity is everywhere if you consider someone scoring some weed is involved or betting on race horses owned by the cartels, c-ck fighting too...oh and maybe political gatherings??? hahaha:o

or buying from PEMEX. I know of one station in the area I have been told is a front for Cartel money. Also know someone in Vizcaino who use to run drugs North via semi when it was much easier. Claims he quit many years ago. Point is drugs are and has been in the area for a long time.

This is not good news coming on the heels of Odile . Tourism is already off and now we have Cartel activity, assassins and murder in the streets.

My thoughts are along those lines.....and with the pending Baja Mil, it wouldn't be pretty to have all those folks develop problems with cartel folks...it could be a big black eye.....they are used to getting a pass on most of the real Baja issues.....
