I ALSO GIVE IT A THUMBS UP
I stayed their last night and really was impressed with the place. As noted in one of the posts, the birds were a little noisy in the day but did not
hear them at night. Single bed rooms with a King size bed (that is what they said) is 550 pesos. Lots of hot water, great water pressure AND THEY
TAKE DOGS! They also take credit cards.
The market in front is well stocked and open until 11:00 P.M.
All employees were extremely friendly and I would stay again in a heart beat.

we grow old because we stop playing

If it is just past the mission (coming from Hwy. 1)... that would be south.
Here is what Martina (writer for Baja Bound) said recently:
"Or try newly built, Hotel La Huerta. It has nine completed rooms that are well furnished, including flat screen TV, Wifi and AC. They do not accept
pets. It has no website, but is part of a local families business. Check in at the Huerta Market just past the mission."

I wonder when she visited? They seem to have more than 9 rooms, but the hotel is 2 stories and I only looked at the first floor. Not sure how many
rooms were upstairs.
They may be expanding, there was construction going on when we stayed in early April 2015. (I was also told a restaurant is planned.)
