I did not know it was carrying a nuclear warhead! Where was it targeted that it killed and maimed so many people? Why hasn't there been coverage of
all this destruction on the news? Why do we have any obligation to build houses and provide water for all these people? Where is the expression of
fear among the American people?

Works good as long as the other guy doesn't have a stick or a bigger stick to beat your burro with.

you know those GOPers, always happy to spend more tax $$ on killing people than on health care! and those GOPers always love sending someone else's
children to die in stanland!
i say that anyone that votes to go to war or fund war is required to go, and take their wives and children too! they can let their wives and children
take rooms in a MSF hospital compound where they will be safe, eh!

That's the policy of all of the likely combatants. That's why the high probability of mutual distruction worked so well for 60 years. More players
today makes it much more risky however.

Bullshice! No American boy should EVER have to set foot in one of those s***tHole countries. And no government should be building free houses. Many
of us have already gone to war..I doubt any of us liked it very much. What have you done, goat, except whine and live on the dole? eh?

Sorry, those "sticks" have been tested over and over. this was a reliability test...they wanted to make sure it still worked. Look it up. Makes
a lot of sense huh.

And some players don't care if they are annihilated. More virgins that way. Its a different world and we have not adapted. We need to quit saving
the world from themselves and let them have their own way of living (or death).

this is mainstream GOP thinking, from news this week:
"Michele Bachmann Claims There's Violence In Israel Because Jesus Is 'Coming Soon' "
You want these whackos (trump or carson, or their fellow lunatics) in the white house with access to nukes on submarines?????

Having participated in the design/ development of a Flight Termination System (command destruct) for the D5, I believe they were only testing the
reliability of that system. Hence the sudden bright flash and disapperance of the light.

"The tests were part of a scheduled, ongoing system evaluation test. Launches are conducted on a frequent, recurring basis to ensure the continued
reliability of the system. Each test activity provides valuable information about our systems, thus contributing to assurance in our capabilities," a
spokesman told the Los Angeles Times. "The missile was not armed. Strategic Systems Programs does not routinely announce missile testing. Information
regarding the test launch of Trident II (D5) missiles is classified prior to the launch."
First deployed in March 1990 and over 150 test flights
Navy only missile...does not meet AF payload requirements.
6 test a year...not bad...keeps the assembly line rolling.
