This just keeps getting better! Maybe this will shame me into taking and posting pictures of my next adventure.

I'm glad that I logged in today, what an awesome trip report! It's been over a year now since I've had my kayak in the Sea of Cortez. I'm way overdue.

You mentioned help on bird IDs, here are some IDs you're missing.
-There is one Double-crested Cormorant and two Brandt's Cormorants.
-The House Finch is actually an immature male Vermilion Flycatcher.
-The night-heron is a Yellow-crowned Night-Heron.
-The dowitchers look like Short-billed to me.

Again, thanks for posting, what a great trip!

Superb trip and photo report, seasider.:bounce:

As a frequent trip report poster on this board, I can appreciate the work you went through in getting your photos to post here. It is not the easiest board to post on, especially photos.

So many times I have been in the middle of a trip report, and everything just disappeared! (and had to start all over again). No idea how it happened.

Great trip report. I love the bird shots. What camera did you use? I am always trying to optimize the bird camera for biking.

Salud and Cheers!

Thank you for taking the time to share your trip with us.

What a wonderful post. Your narrative inflected photo positioning exudes Baja!

Gracias
