Indeed. I had to choose between continuing to kick start mine and having a functioning ankle for the rest of my life. I went with the ankle and a
WR250F. Been thinking about going back to a Honda though. The Yami is definitely not as reliable.

It's always romantic looking back. Always remember the good times. Forget when it was hot and you kicked it for 20 minutes or dropping it in the sand
and trying to pick it up. Lol. I like the little red button.

Scott Summers my hero.He was the only one, that could ride the beast.Blow by any bike, but only him.On trail racing. You or me could not do it.

If Scott can pick that 300 pound pig up and hold it like that he could ride whatever he wants.

Not true Ed,Scott is the Same as Jack at the El Camino motel. We took J Campbell and his racing crew,on trail ride. They where all riding trick
Honda factory bikes.Jack(Who you know Ed) was on his clapped out Xr400.No one in the group, could even get close to him.On there CRf450xs.Johnny asked
Me Who Is That Guy.Will he race the 1000 for us.Sadly I told him,he can only ride clapped out Xr400 fast. After Scott recovered form injury.Later on
Honda, had him on tricked out CRF450.He did lots of work to it,to make it XR600 like.Super Heavy flywheel weight, conventional forks.Even longer rod on
Crank shaft.(Stroking it for more low end) He never, could win again.Like on the Xr600.My respect for him,No one like Scott Summers.

My 2003 XR650r has 30k miles on it, all dirt with only one top end service.
Fires right up and would have the confidence to ride it down the peninsula and back.
