Thank you to all who gave fantastic advise - just got back Sunday 4/29 and the trip was wonderful. Tulum/Chichen Itza, Coba, Izamal, Uxmal, Puuc
Route, Palenque, Yaxchillan, Bonampak. great roads, refreshing cenotes, understandable road signs for directions, good phone coverage, nice hotels
for reasonable prices.
Thanks again!

I've thought when I return to Tuluum and Chichen Itza, I would spend the night. Not enough time to see in a day. Maybe leave out some driving
to stay a night at the ruins.
While caving there, wife picked up a bug called San Joaquin Valley Fever (Coccidioidomycosis) -- a spore that would be breathed in. Flu type
symptoms followed by x-rays, and a serious surgery removing a large mass from her lung. (This spore grows, breaks up, and it's all over.)
I'll be wearing a surgical type mask next time. She doesn't want to go. (Docs asked if she had been caving when her sickness developed.)
Have fun, be careful.
US Marines: providing enemies of America an opportunity to die for their country since 1775.
What I say before any important decision.
F*ck it.

David K, no we didn't stay at the campground in Palenque, we stayed at the Cham Kha, but we did have howler monkeys. Only photos I took were on my
iPhone and I have no idea how to upload here...I will try to figure it out.

A photo link needs to begin with to appear here. Links alone (without the photo showing) need to begin with the
http:// part. All the links above are only half there.

Not sure what account you mean... but if your intention was to allow us to see photos, you have to at least give the full web address for the photo.
It begins with http:// or https:// and when posted properly here, will be blue in color.
