I have a really nice jeep scrambler, street legal rock crawler. I like it and have run every hard trail in cal with it, BUT I'm ready for a new four
door with good air and heat! I have a 2017 Polaris 1000 rock and trail edition SXS, for running around in Baja I think it would be a blast but they
aren't cheap, just under 20K for mine. I still wont be selling my KTM'S anytime soon especially if I lived in Baja! The SXS is more fun in the sand
and can be has for 12-15 for a clean used one. Jeep's aren't cheap either but an older CJ-5 or a Suzuki samurai can be had for a decent price. I have
a CJ-5 that was a good rock crawler in it's day but needs some TLC that might fit for what you want? Send me a message if you are interested.

Don't even think of a Rhino I bought one last year. The engine is between the seats. Heat and Engine racket unbearable sold it after 6 months . I
think the late Yamaha is good no drive belt to break. Standard shift trans maybe more reliable. Not given up my dirt bikes anytime soon. You may want
to think about a better bike for aging rider then a 450r. May want to try a Estart 250 Enduro soft susp just hit the button to start low to the
ground. I only ride my Wr450 once a month but my custom made CRF 230/254cc ride every week.

My .02 worth. I have a Can Am Defender 800. Seats 3 comfortably and has a dump bed in the back that hauls whatever...kiteboards, dirt, more people,
you name it. It will go 50 mph but we seldom do. It wasn't cheap but half the price of the go fast ones.

I agree with the rhino, several friends have had them. Under powered hot, noisy and they have a problem in the rear with the diff and frame where they
have problems. The good is you can probably get one cheap. I would stay away from all or the highly modified stuff out there and get one with just the
extras you want, not all turboed and tuned! We have more fun in our SXS then any other toy I have owned, the wife loves taking it out....

I had the chance to drive a Can Am 4 seat . Amazing smooth ride and fun. Agree no need to buy the newer fast ones fun to just see the sights.

100% right don't buy the SXS with many race mods as problems. Look at it this way the older SXS smaller wheels less power. So what the old ones go 50
mph the new ones 60mph. Less speed more sight seeing smell the roses. I may buy another one but need sell one of the toys as no room anymore for more.

Ture on Jeeps there great. What is cool is the plush ride of a SXS it beats even my pre runner also rides better then even my bikes.

Although I still like the side x side idea.
I think I have found what is right.
A 1992 Jeep Wrangler can be found for less than 4 grand
1st year of fuel injection so suppose to be better than a carb.
My 1st baja trip was riding in the back of a 85 CJ-7 with no top.
I spent about ten days and over 1000 miles in it. You can't ask for a better view.
There was that time when I had just swam in the in the Cortez for the 1st time.
I was standing in the back of the jeep in a towel. I was putting on dry shorts.
The "move out" command came over the CB.
The jeep jumped forward as the driver gassed it. I grabbed for the rollbar so as not to fall out the back.
I lost grip of my towel and the towel went flying out the back of the jeep.
And that is how I inadventantly mooned everyone in bola as we drove down the main drag with me standing buck naked in the back holding on to the
rollbar for dear life.
Those were the days☺
