Thousands and thousands of animals are killed everyday for food. Cattle, hogs, chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits not wild, and that's not counting the fish we eat. That's just in the USA, in Asia they kill cats and dogs for food as well as mice and rats and some places in Europe they still kill horses for food.

Instead of spending time and money to go deer hunting, why don’t you just stay home and shoot your dog or cat? Better yet, you can save money if you don’t buy a gun, just grab a scrap piece of 2x4 and club your dog to death.

Jeezus, you really are over the edge. How in the world do you equate hunting for a deer with beating your dog to death with a 2x4. Are you a snow flake by chance?

There is a reason you live in Oxnard. No one would do it by choice.

Btw, we lived in Spainish Hills for 8 years and I could sometimes see that chithole on a clear day.

You are at least correct on this. I launched my boat out of Oxnard for many years, not a nice place and getting worse every year.

We always went out of Ventura Harbor. Hit the Channel Islands and Santa Barbara.

We use to go there and slum it sometimes. There was semi-nude strip place right off the freeway, one exit down from Camarillio. I believe it was called PJ's. Super tiny and they served alcohol. My bother-in-law dragged me there a bunch.

And the Spearmint Rhino of course. Channel Islands isn't half bad. I dated a chick who had a place right on the marina water front.

I did both and know a lot of the Sport Boat Captains very well, many are close friends so it depended on the situation, we always looked out for each other and shared all pertinent info. Oxnard is a chithole but we were trhere to launch and get busy. I wouldn't trade it for anything and anytime I am in the area we still take care of each other.
