Scooby number two is still there, he's short one eye and had stitches from his last fight but still keep an eye on everyone...

Is the 'chihuahua on a pillow' a service offered instead of a mint or chocolate? LOL

LOL, might be a good service, I was missing mine! We always leave our door open as we are coming and going, I came out of the bathroom and he was out
cold. Don't think it was his first time sneaking in.

It's the least that I could do for all of the information I get from this site! I guess someone needs to bring a new shirt a long for the mud
mannequin.. Do you know if that is an american or local that lives in the house on the bluff where that picture was taken? Awesome location and a cool
little house.

OK the rest of day 4. We couldn't ride past the mission with the Kansas kid never having seen it. We've all been several times but I really like the
family and all that they do.
The first mission on this site!

Day 5: We kicked around BOLA and rested up a little.Day 6's plan was 22 day trail back to Catavina for the night then the rockman trail the next day
over to San Felipe... We all know how plans go in Baja! By the time I did the first 40 miles of the East side of the 22 day trail to the highway I was
done. I had been fighting off a cold that caught up with me, I was very weak and in no shape to finish the trail. Plans adjusted and two of us headed
to SF via Coco's and the highway and two went back to Catavina for the night.
You can just make out the trail...
And a little dust..

Thanks. It must have been some kind of fun for Bill Nichols to find a route across Baja where no roads exist!
His trail to L.A. Bay does use some of the Jesuit's El Camino Real and I wonder if that was just coincidence as I am sure both the missionaries and
Bill simply chose the most logical route based on terrain and their means of transportation?

WOW, great trip -- some of your singletrack shots made me jealous. And the desert is green and happy!

San Borja is correct. It's between BOLA and highway one. I think it's the best mission to visit because of the family that had adopted the mission and
gives tours. One of the best tours you will get in English or Spanish!
If you ask there is more to see then just the mission, hot springs, irrigated fields where crops were grown and a lesson on the original mission
just behind the big one. Please tip the family, I don't think they get paid for what they do and even if they do, it's not enough for where they are.
I'm trying not to get to long winded on each day because it's Baja and I could make a page out of each day of awesome! Stay tuned for a little
more, and lookout I'm only two years from retirement and you might start getting more Baja reports then you want!!!

The East half of the 22day has become one of my favorites. What a great ride.

Day 7: The plan was to R&R for two of us while the other two ride the rockman trail over to SF. I told the other two that if they didn't show up
by 5PM I would head out to look for them. At 4:30 our two riders rolled into hotel caribe right on time. We have stayed here several time, clean,
close to everything and not a bad price.
The two riders that roe the rockman reported it living up to it name with a lost of lava rock and then deep sand washes, about 5 hours to run 70
miles...
Some steps coming down...
Some of the hecklers we ran into.
Dinner in SF....
Few locals stopped in for breakfast..
I got a good deal on a fishing trip, half price.
Almost done, one more day of pictures as we make our way back to Tecate, stay tuned....
