No. Just because you collect a check and are fine sitting on your #ss at home doesn't mean others are.
Follow the damn science. The WHO says lock downs don't work and do much more harm than good.
Stop attacking others from living their lives, especially in a manner that doesn't put themselves or anyone else at risk. To do so, is just to be a
bitter person.

Or a PPP "loan" perhaps. What ever happened to that pandemic assistance loan you got for your business? Did you pay it back?
I think we all know the answer to that question, don't we?

Jiz,
You seem to continue to judge others as "bad people" and encourage the moderator to ban Nomads who disagree with your myopic views and opinions.
Your time-worn accusations of people hiding in their basements, living in fear, and somehow inappropriately are living off investments, pensions, or
other totally appropriate sources of income certainly lacks any sense of a greater common good, empathy or compassion for those not living in your
self-indulgent bubble, and any sense of social conscience.
That being as it may, it is evident you are immune ..... not from being a covid carrier, but from a sense of community, inter-dependent
responsibility, and what some would consider any respect for others.
You likely are unable to see these aspects of your positioning.
However, some of us have this ability.
Don't believe everything you think....

You have told us you live off a check from the govt. So you don't care what happens to other ppl who have to work for a living.
You don't care about anyone but yourself pal.
Telling ppl to not travel/live in a safe way is an terrible position to take. Just stay in the basement and collect your checks, and screw the rest
of the world.

No, I do not live off a gov't cheque....am only in the basement to do laundry or in my music studio, and get out locally every day....for a hike or
drive, while respecting sensible and responsible local health authority guidelines.
But thank you for confirming my post.
Oh, one other thing....I am NOT your "pal" .

So have you.
Like that PPP loan you got. Any of that money go to your salary?
Why don't you answer the question? Did you pay it back? Or keep it?

3,000 people per day die of covid in USA. That’s same death toll as one 9/11 event per day.
Shorty McJizzy responds that public health directives and recommendations are just too gosh darn restrictive, he must violate CA public health orders
and San Miguel county advisories and go skiing because his happiness is most important (he feels suicidal when stuck at home in Calabasas with his
fluffy puppy), and the peasants of telluride are begging him to come!

All they are accomplishing is wrecking Doug's board. Ppl are going to Baja, safely. And would post stories about it here. About helping ppl in
Baja.
But the goat mob, who lives on a govt. check and doesn't have to work for a living, wants everyone to stay home and attacks them.
Regardless of how much it crushes the working stiffs, and no matter what the science (WHO) says.
Goat is an awful person through and through. He only sees the negative in anything. I'd be careful about aligning with someone like that.

Goat, CDC data shows no more excess deaths than any other year over the last couple of years, nothing different, leading causes of death are the same,
meaning no pandemic, also their guidelines categorize "DIED WITH COVID" while people are dying from 2-3 severe co-morbidities, not from COVID.

This statement is incorrect. CDC estimate is 300k excess deaths with at least 66% directly attributed to C-19. Source Reuters

https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid19/excess_deaths.htm
Note, CDC states COVID deaths as "Deaths WITH COVID" with practically zero deaths without 2-3 Comorbidities meaning Heart Disease, Cancer etc. same as
always, not "from COVID", and no significant change in excess deaths as a percentage of population over many years, go to CDC, follow the link, the
graph comes right up, at one or two weeks I April there was a 10% blip, that's all folks.
*Reading Comprehension*
COVID, like common Flu and colds is your body reacting to cellular toxicity, pollution, stress, being run down, the best prophylactic is good health,
same as always, Nutrition to help your body function properly, 90 essential vitamins, minerals, amino acids, exercise, fresh air, positivity, and
social engagement. Isolation, face masks, chemical sanitizers, are harmful to overall health.

Using the CDC link posted above, the estimated excess deaths from 2/1/20 from all causes is 275,049 to 381,896. The estimated excess deaths excluding
Covid is 36,933 to 126,935.
You were saying?

I see. So using your logic, I guess then we'd better go back and alter the death toll numbers from 9-11.
As it turns out, 2,274 of the 2,605 souls that perished that awful day suffered from other health factors such as cancer, being overweight, heart
disease, diabetes, over the age of 60 and the like and so the real number would then only be 331 actual victims of the terrorists?

Here on Cape Cod we get our fair share of "Quarantine Tourism", where people from Boston and the suburbs escape to relative safety in what are
otherwise seasonal communities. State guidelines call for most out-of-state visitors to bring enough food for a quarantine period of 14 days, but of
course very few people do that, and there is zero enforcement. Two months ago an AirBnB across the street from us hosted a birthday party with over 30
guests. We called the owner to complain, and he claimed not to know how that this was going to happen. Another neighbor called the police, who
declined to enforce occupancy restrictions, insisting that this was the responsibility of the Health Department. Legislation to keep short-term
rentals out of residential neighborhoods has been hampered by the fact that some of the lawmakers are landlords and would end up undermining their own
profits! Local businesses also like the boost to the economy, despite the fact that things like shopping and indoor dining are subject to restrictions
- all enforced via "the honor system". Needless to say, the infection rate in Barnstable County now reflects the influx of visitors, many of whom pay
little or no attention to CDC and/or State guidelines.
